Alex works mostly with pre-adolescents, adolescents, and young adults with an integrative approach including Cognitive Behavioral Therapies and Motivational Interviewing.

“My approach to counseling focuses on forming a genuine relationship with clients built on trust, non-judgement, and most of all, care. My goal is to provide supportive and collaborative services with you, your family, and/or your children in order to achieve your goals therapeutically.”

A little more about me,

“I was born and raised in Mobile, AL where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of South Alabama. My internship during graduate school sparked a passion in my heart to work with children who have experienced trauma and are looking for healing. During my internship, I was fortunate to receive in-depth training in Trauma Focused-CBT. After receiving my Master’s in Counseling, I worked with at-risk youth for a year and half in schools and the juvenile detention center for substance use, traumas, and family issues. Recently my wife and I moved here to Oklahoma on a new journey and I am excited to meet you in your life’s journey!”
